Vaspr

A unified liquidity layer on Avalanche — one interface to trade, borrow, and invest across every market. Vaspr is in beta; early access is rolling out through the waitlist.

Overview

DeFi on Avalanche is deep but fragmented: liquidity sits across LFJ's Liquidity Book, Pharaoh's vote-escrowed pools, Dexalot's on-chain order book, Aave and Benqi's lending markets, and a growing set of sovereign Avalanche L1s. Getting the best price, the best rate, or the best yield today means hopping between half a dozen interfaces.

Vaspr collapses that into one surface. You express intent — trade, borrow, invest — and Vaspr routes across the venues and markets underneath. The same model that made Jupiter the front door to Solana and Kamino the default for unified borrowing and yield — applied to Avalanche's liquidity stack.

Why Avalanche

  • Finality in ~1 second. Avalanche's Snowman consensus confirms transactions in about a second — fast enough that execution risk on trades and liquidations drops dramatically versus slower chains.
  • Sub-cent fees. After ACP-125 shipped with Etna, the C-Chain minimum base fee dropped from 25 nAVAX to 1 nAVAX. Small trades, rebalances, and vault compounding stay economically viable.
  • Sovereign L1s. Avalanche9000 (the Etna upgrade, December 2024) turned Subnets into sovereign L1s via ACP-77: validators pay a continuous fee of ~1.3 AVAX per month instead of staking 2,000 AVAX, and only sync the P-Chain — not the whole Primary Network. Purpose-built chains are now cheap to launch.
  • Native interop. Interchain Messaging (ICM) and Interchain Token Transfer (ICTT) are protocol-level rails — validator-attested, no external custodian — that move assets between L1s. This is the plumbing behind “global liquidity across all markets.”
  • EVM by default. The C-Chain is an Ethereum Virtual Machine chain, so the entire Solidity tooling ecosystem applies — and Vaspr meets users where their wallets already are.

Trade

Best-execution spot routing across Avalanche's native venues. Instead of picking a DEX, Vaspr splits and routes each order across the venues that actually hold the liquidity:

  • LFJ — the largest DEX on Avalanche (~50% of chain volume), built on the Liquidity Book model of concentrated, bin-based liquidity.
  • Pharaoh Exchange — the vote-escrowed liquidity layer steadily consolidating pool depth.
  • Dexalot — a fully on-chain central limit order book running on its own Avalanche L1, for order-book execution where AMMs fall short.

Perpetuals are on the roadmap — GMX has already proven the model on Avalanche with up to 30x leverage and zero price-impact trades.

Borrow

Collateral in, liquidity out — routed across Avalanche's two deepest credit markets so you always borrow at the best available rate:

  • Aave — the largest protocol by TVL on Avalanche, with the deepest stablecoin liquidity.
  • Benqi — Avalanche-native lending plus sAVAX liquid staking, so collateral can keep earning staking yield while it backs a position.

Isolated markets and leveraged looping are on the roadmap — the same play Kamino ran with K-Lend on Solana.

Invest

Curated strategies that put idle capital to work across the ecosystem — no hopping between farms:

  • LP vaults — managed Liquidity Book bin strategies on LFJ and concentrated pools on Pharaoh.
  • Lending yield — stable deposits into Aave and Benqi markets, auto-routed to the best rate.
  • Staking yield — sAVAX liquid staking exposure without locking AVAX.
  • Delta-neutral — funding-rate strategies pairing spot and perp legs (on the roadmap).

Interchain liquidity

“Across all markets” is literal. Avalanche is becoming a network of sovereign L1s, and liquidity lives on many of them — Dexalot's order book L1, gaming and RWA chains, institutional deployments. Vaspr is built on Avalanche's native interop rails:

  • ICM (Interchain Messaging) — messages carry an aggregate signature from the source chain's validators, verified on-chain against the P-Chain validator registry. No multisig committee, no custodian.
  • ICTT (Interchain Token Transfer) — a TokenHome contract locks an asset on its origin chain while a TokenRemote mints the representation on the destination L1. Remote contracts register permissionlessly, and assets can move as ERC-20 or native token on either side.

Practically: a vault on C-Chain can source collateral from another L1, and trades can settle against liquidity that lives beyond the Primary Network — from one interface.

Roadmap

Vaspr is in beta. Early access is rolling out in phases through the waitlist.

  1. Phase 1 — Trade. Aggregated spot routing across Avalanche venues, portfolio view.
  2. Phase 2 — Borrow. Collateralized positions routed to the best rate across lending markets.
  3. Phase 3 — Invest. Curated vault strategies: LP, lending, staking.
  4. Phase 4 — Interchain. Cross-L1 liquidity via ICTT; exploring a dedicated Vaspr L1 for settlement.

FAQ

Is Vaspr live?

Vaspr is in beta. We're onboarding early-access users in waves — join the waitlist for an invite.

Which chain does Vaspr run on?

Avalanche C-Chain, with cross-L1 liquidity routed through ICM and ICTT.

Where does the liquidity come from?

From Avalanche's native venues — LFJ, Pharaoh, Dexalot — and its lending markets, Aave and Benqi, plus interchain sources via ICTT.

Are contracts audited?

All Vaspr contracts undergo third-party audit before each public release phase.
